Our homes are often the last place where we expect to find hazards to children. Although we take extra precautions to ensure that our children are safe when they go off to school on the playground and pool, we often take our homes as a safe place - a place protected by locks, alarm systems and even a family dog. Even dog breeds with no history of aggression, however, are likely to be caused, especially by small children.
It was rather one of the most horryfying experiences for a family in San Diego to find their infant lifeless. The boy was pronounced dead the minute he reached the emergency room at Rady Children's Hospital. The boy's father, who is in the army, was repatriated when the attack occurred.

One should train their dog to mingle with everyone no matter whatever breed it is so as to minimize the dog attack. In order to keep the aggressiveness at the barest minimum one should not have any wrestling or tug of war games with ones dog. In contrast, you should encourage the behavior of your dog to obey commands or releasing toys or the food he has in his mouth without grumbling - a submission which should be encouraged.
One should ensure that they do not leave small childrens and infants with any kind of dog that one has even though it may just be a dog puppy. Children are often less receptive to the signs that a dog can give when he wants to be left alone or is embarrassed, like when a dog growls or shows his teeth.

In the event they are attacked and brought to the ground by the dog, they should roll into a ball and remain motionless. Medical care must be provided without delay.
