Sierra Leone is a country in West Africa. In West Africa there is a country named Sierra Leone. The capital of this is Freetown. It has a tropical climate and English is the native language here. It has unicameral legislature with constitutional republic. The president is considered the head of the state and the government. He appoints the other members of the parliament. its economy is dependent on mining and it is still a developing nation. fishing is the major activity of Freetown Sierra Leone. It contributes a bit to the economy. It has the largest fishing grounds for shrimp and some other species found here are tuna, lobster, crab and snapper.

fishing is done during the weekends, by the tourists as a part of recreational activity. the night life here is very busy and famous since there are many night clubs. But unfortunately one must be cautious about their belongings in night clubs as it is a good spot for pick pockets. the night life is generally between twelve in the midnight to five in the morning. St. John's Maroon Church, The Wharf Steps and Old Guard House, The Martello Tower, The Cotton Tree, Bunce Island are some of the attractive places for the tourists. Bunce Island is the largest slave castle of West Africa. In Sierra Leone this is considered to be one of the historic place. The ruins are still there and Sierra Leone has left it as such to attract the tourists. therefore it attracts many tourists during vacations.

Yawri is one of the best bay considering wild life and scenic beauties. the place has many rich mangroves which is the home for thousands of birds. This bay is in southeast of the capital. Fishing is also one of the activities here. Kangari Hills forest reserve is another scenic spot in Sierra Leone. this place is also located in the east of capital city. the reserve is said to be a part of the hill range. the highest part of the hill range is called as Kang-ari. There is lot of water resources in this reserve that supports agriculture in and around this area. Two famous rivers namely Pampana river and the Moa river orinitae from this hill range. another forest reserve is also equally beautiful as this. its known as the kambui hills forest reserve. it serves as a production reserve for timber. There are some catchment areas here for the close by reservoirs. Other tourist attractions here are the Loma Mountains and Gola forest. the revenue to the government increases since these beautiful places attracts tourists all over the world. In West Africa, the highest mountain peak is Mount Bintumani which is part of Loma mountain range. Mount Bintumani is the highest range in the country. Mount Bintumani is the highest mountain range in Freetown Sierra Leone.
